Ghana Mission

Empowering health and well-being in Ghana through education and partnership

Ghana Mission

About the Mission

The Medicare Foundation’s Ghana Mission is a transformative initiative aimed at improving health and well-being in underserved communities across Ghana. In collaboration with local organisations, we focus on raising awareness about sickle cell disease, promoting blood donation, and providing essential health education.

By leveraging community engagement and sustainable programmes, we inspire positive change and foster a culture of health awareness and action that continues long after our teams return home.

Sickle Cell Awareness

Educating communities about sickle cell disease to reduce stigma and encourage early detection and care.

Blood Donation Drives

Organising and supporting blood drives that help patients with sickle cell and other conditions in Ghana.

Health Education

Providing training and resources to enhance local healthcare capacity and community knowledge.
